Honestly like a second family, the enviroment of growth and encouragement is amazing, been at the gym for almost 4 years at this point and wouldn't change it for the world. doesn't matter whether its a technique or life advice, the people here always want to build you up and see you grow. made some absolutely amazing friends being here, and look forward to continuing my training.

The variety and amount of classes offered are excellent, providing plenty of opportunities to train and improve with or without any prior experience. The gym has a great atmosphere, with a welcoming and supportive community that helps with growth. I highly recommend Perth Hills BJJ to anyone looking for high-quality instruction, plenty of class options and a great training environment.

Fantastic group of people led by owner and head coach Mike, along with a host of very competent and welcoming instructors.This is a safe and enjoyable dojo that remains down to earth and focused on getting the best out of their students, regardless of their age, gender or experience.I can’t recommend the Perth Hills academy of Legion XIII enough.

Stepping on to the mats for the first time can be anxiety provoking, however, Mike and the team have fostered an amazing culture and the camararderie and willingness to pass on knowledge shown by literally everyone in the gym makes learning fun and engaging. Went just to try it out one day and have kept coming back as much as I can ever since, and can really feel the progress in skill, understanding, and most of all fitness!! Highly recommend!

Starting bjj has been an amazing experience for me, I tried different bjj gyms but, this place is one of the best, good environment, people are friendly and respectful. Also so easy to improve skills because everyone is keen to help and share their knowledge. If you want to start your bjj journey or want to have great rolls, I strongly recommend it.

Honestly one of the best decisions I've made is joining Perth Hills.I had no background in any sort of martial arts or even sports and have not done any fitness in months before I went to my first class. None of that mattered! I started by going to the women's only classes and Laura made the class so fun I completely forgot I was nervous. All the instructors and fellow members are so nice and helpful, they really motivate you. Now I'm two months in and joining really helped me love BJJ and I'm super happy I joined :)

Brilliant gym to start your BJJ journey. The 101 introduction classes really help to give you an idea of what to expect and teach you good foundation knowledge before entering the main classes.All the higher belts from black, even down to the more senior white belts make you feel welcome, comfortable and spend the time helping you through the positions and techniques.

Our kids joined the junior 1 class just over 9 months ago. It's such a great experience and they loved it from the start. The quality of teaching and support is exceptional and it's just a great community. We're seeing benefits on so many levels for the kids individually and as a family. Highly recommended.
